Restarting the PostgreSQL and Spire API Services

As part of basic troubleshooting steps assisting with the resolution errors connecting to a database, it may be suggested that you restart your PostgreSQL and Spire API services. The steps below outline how to restart these services.

Right-Click Windows taskbar.
Select “Task Manager”.
Click on "Services" Tab.
Click "Open Services".
Find and Right-Click on the PostgreSQL Service then click Restart.
Find and Right-Click on "Spire API Server" then click Restart.
